My road glide 2k with dual disc brakes has a bad pulsation. Has anyone had this problem? new disc are costly. thinking about going to a single 13" set up but more expensive. Could use some help in deciding.

saintpm you can pull your roters off & have them check for being warpped , or it just might be a bad set of pad's , & these heavy bikes almost just realy need the duel roters

yup, the rotors are probably warped.....i believe they can be turned for a fraction of the cost of a new set.

Chuck stock rotors are zinc coated steel and should never be turned. The only rotor that could be turned was the earlier FLH/T rears that I know of.

    Thanx

Thank you for the tips. I had no idea about resurfaceing the aftermarket rotors. I am the second owner of this bike. So I imagine they are orginal. I will look for part numbers that should help. Any clues as to what rotors work best? Knowing the good bad and ugly would also help a great deal.:biker

Depends whether you want stock, polished, or SS rotors. There are many good ones out there and the stock ones from the moco are always a safe bet. Performance Machine makes goods ones if you are looking for polished. Regardless of brand I have used Lyndall Z-Pads for a long time and they not only have the best feel but protect polished and SS rotors. Plus I've never had them squeal on me like the factory or other sintered pads.

RAIN??? I thought you said you live in South Texas where you get year round riding weather ;)

Thats ok, I live in "so-called" sunny california, but here riding conditions are determined by traffic instead of rain.
