How much rocker noise is normal? I've installed S&S 585 gear drive cams in my '03 95" TC-B motor and it seems like there is more noise in the rocker boxes than before. Pushrods are adjusted as per manufacturer....but it doesn't seem as if the pushrods are tight enough. Any of you had this issue?

Usually when you go to a more aggressive cam you'll see some increase in noise, you've gone from .470 lift to .585 that's pretty significant.

You should be able to twist the rods with thumb and forefinger but not move around. You can try turning it a flat or two(one flat side of the nut) don't over extend or valve damage and or the motor won't start if it gets the valve open at TDC.

Also if you put in larger springs and roller rockers you need to clearance the rocker box sides and top.
