Hi gentlemen (heehee, ya right, sure you are), one of the pushrod tubes is moving when the shovelhead motor is running. It has solid lifter. Could I have a bent pushrod?
Are solid lifters a good idea for a stock motor or no?

If its not leaking I'd be surprised
sounds like a broken or slipped O-ring allowing it to
move, surprised you also don't have a ticking sound
from the rod hitting the tube,

is it the typical 4 part tube?, clip, center ring lower and upper?

Pull the retaining clip and lift to inspect the O-ring...

Yes, typical shovelhead tubes. I will remove the clip and check the o-rings. Thanks.
I'll let you know what I find.
Are solid lifters good idea for a stock motor or no not so much?

I wouldn't use them, they require adjustment, and that might be an issue for you.

I'd run hydos with SNS travel limiters sort of a hydro solid, takes up
about 1/3 of the lifter travel area so the don't bleed down all the way.

    Roller lifters are the best,
