I've got the Scorpion half helmet and the Harley 3/4 helmet with a drop, down clear and dark shield and it works great for both. Simply insert it in and snap its done and holds without coming loose. I hate those helmet where you have to loops it then figure out what to do with the excess, pain in the arss.

Got a Full Face Shoei that I wear in the winter. I got the straps together. Leave them loose so I can push the strap forward and pull the helmet off.
Got a AVG that came with Super nice quick release from the Factory.
For years, I've called and emailed Helmet mfg, INcluding Shoei where I had a woman to raise hell at me, cause I said they was living in the Dinasour age puttin Buckles on helmets.
    She spout words at me.
I said then since they are so great put them in your car and evertime you get in and out use them instead of quick release seatbelt.
    Y'all are just Cheap.
And the quick release snaps you buy are cheap.:cussing:

I hate those stock D-rings, biggest pain in the arse when riding. Quick connect works great.
