I'm very sorry to hear this, Steve. These incidents should remind us all what can happen to us in a split second. We have to watch after ourselves because many cagers sure ain't watching for us.

You know, I try not to get too worked up about these things, but after I re-read this thread a dozen times and keep thinking about it, I get furious. Are people that G*D D*MN stupid that they have to drive drunk and screw up other peoples lives forever? I'm sorry to hijack your thread Steve, but I just want to scream! Another senseless tragedy brought on by a selfish a**hole. I just pray that you guys can get through this somehow and continue with your lives. I hope that driver will think about this until it drives him insane, whether they're in jail or not. Again, sorry to get off track, but this kinda stuff just get's my blood boiling. Please forgive my rant as there is no disrespect intended, and I hope there's none taken by you or anyone else here.....

no offense taken by me you spoke whats been going through me since I got the call the town where it happened is very small and there's a good chance the person that killed my cousin Ernie is related to us so that makes it even harder. we used to have family reunions every couple of years when I was young but now it seems that we only get together its because of a death in the family this one is going to be real hard I expect to catch a lot of greif for showing up on my harley but he would show me the same respect this makes me the last harley rider in the family gotta stop now can't see the keys

    thanks again everyone
