Trying to find out if anybody has run a Race Tech kit in their front forks and if so what it's like. Thanks.

Are you referring to the springs, the "cartridge emulators", or both? We run the Racetech fork springs on a Land-Speed-Record Sportster & they are very good. They are constant-rate though, not progressive, but you can set the pre-load by using shims and/or pieces of PVC pipe cut to a specific length. Vastly superior to stock fork springs.

I have not tried the "cartridge emulators" but everyone I know who has likes them a lot. The best front end ever made for a Sportster (can be used on a Dyna too) was for the 1200S "Sport" model, 1998-2003, which had true cartridge forks which are externally adjustable. The RaceTech emulators make the front end almost that good - not externally adjustable, but much better rebound & damping control than stock.

I'm not familiar with the details of the front ends on the big Electra-Glides, etc. so I'm no help there, but from what I've seen on Sportsters & Dynas, RaceTech makes very good products.
