Radio tuning switch

    the radio tuning switch on the handlebars is sloppy and feels like its ready to fall off.. just had new chrome housings installed about two months ago . is there a clip in the bars to keep that lever on?

    Yes, there is a piece in the housing that keeps it from flopping around and also a spring, hope the spring didn't fall out. The spring could also be broken and they are a pain to replace, been there done it. Putting those chrome covers on can be a real pain. You will have to pull the housing apart to get into it. Best to get a service manual. Good luck with it.

    yep what FLHT said ,or take beck to the shop that put the new covers On & let them know it fell apart to easy

    thanks for the info, had a feeling it wouldnt be an easy fix, will take it back and cant wait to hear the how it might have happened, will keep you posted
