Out for a ride with friends on Saturday. Stopped at a watering hole and came across this little bike. Pretty cool gal that owned it. Said it was a Simplex on the tank. Also said "Automatic" and had USAF markings on it.

Pretty cool alright. She must have been either leaning or packing heavy stuff on the bars, the head light looks to be pointing straight down at the front fender.

This had belt drive also. left side, the "sprocket" is the same size as the wheel. You can just see it in the pic. Believe she said it was a '56.

believe it is a '56 - look at the motor. Looks like it could even be older . . .

Very cool for sharing and having the presence of mind to have a camera.

On my ride today I stopped at a War Museum here in Kissimmee and this was the last display they had before you walked out. I love these Indians, don't know enough about them to know if this one has been restored to look like an original or if it is as close to a full restoration as possible. I didn't get to talk to the guy who runs the place he was out for the day none the less thought it was pretty cool. You can see from the pic it is leaking oil.
