    What American jobs?
Do the "American" car companies still build cars here?
Lost my job when Ford started building the Fusion in Mexico.
Brother lost his when GM started building the Suburban and Tahoe down there...

I think the point is that we'd like Americans to focus on buying
American cars, so that more jobs, like the one you lost, sorry about that
don't go out the door and overseas.

Yes unions are part of it, when companies have to deal with Unions
they don't like it, and they no longer have to sit still and take it.

They can simply move... and they do.

You also lost it in part to increased sales of Japanese vehicles
Yeah they built plants here but it transferred domestic manuf jobs
to non union states or open/right to work states where the japanese have
    built plants...

Buy Domestic and you'll find more domestic companies hiring....

Plus Fords Stop when you press the brake LOL

The only American car/truck I would buy would have to be a Ford. Since Obama and the Unions took over GM and part of Chrysler I won't any part in those companies.
