    B]Hi Guys (Newbie Still Here)

Got my bike new in 1985 FLHTC.
And I ashamed to ask this question 'cause I really don't know If my REAR TAIL LIGHT should light-up when I just turn my ignition switch on ~ WITHOUT EVEN HITTING THE STARTER BUTTON

    Check out photos.

P.S. don't think that's suppose to happen

My bike is still layed-up on my back patio and I'm having ALL KINDS OF PROBLEMS getting it to START.

Right now all I'm getting when I hit the starter is: G-R-R-R-R

The battery is new 1 month old with 489 cranking power to it.

What do you guys think about all this; ESPECIALLY THAT REAR TAIL LIGHT BEING ON WHEN I JUST TURN MY IGNITION SWITCH ON :witsend:

Hi Schooner, taillight possibly, brake light no. Make sure the brake light isn't staying on, otherwise it could be the switch located at the hand grip.

Yep tail light should be on but that pic it looks pretty bright like it's the brake light...like Ken said most times it's in the hand brake....
