They should...They issue a life threatning recall and they don't pick your bike up and you get killed on your way to the stealership to get the problem fixed...The lawyers would have a field day...

Hadn't thought of that. But you could ride to the dealership, if you had to, and only use the front brake when at slow speed, like when stopping at a light or stop sign, yes?

Nope, the line gets pinched under the tank and it can lock up your brakes without you even applying pressure to them. I have heard of 5 serious injuries so far. Can you imagine being in a tight fast corner and your front brake locks up. Kiss you arse good-by cause your going down or over the top of the bars. Lawsuits here we come.

So the brakeline gets pinched under the tank? Maybe a case of trying to pass too much crap under the gas tank or incorrectly assembled at the factory? Brakelines, of all things, should be free and clear of any potential areas where they can be pinched. I would think it would be nearly impossible to pinch a brakeline that has stainless sheathing around it. Maybe the Harley brakelines are made of some other material?
I've heard of wiring getting pinched before, but not brakelines.

Haven't paid attention to CVO's but they seem always trying to make them more sleek.
