    To buy a weapon, you need a waiting period or a CHL license.
    With a CHL license you already have a FBI background check
    How much money do we need to keep passing laws and do background checks if the FBI check is not any good.

    Well it might be constitutionally legal,
    I've said before Heller gave us the right to own and carry a gun
    but it did not define the gun, that will be a 10th amendment
    issue and the states can define what is reasonable.

    This is probably going to be fully constitutional
    in that the law doesn't prevent you from owning
    a firearm, but it limits the type, and it limits the
    ammo, both purchases must be registered, no internet
    ammo sales, basically 7 round and less..

    Better buy what rifle/hand gun semi auto you want and better do it now. I really hope that the new law in NY back fires on those democrats at the next election. BO and his henchmen are out to get us in any way they can and they all say its what Americans want, :banghead:

    N.Y.,N.J. Those battles are over. Americans lost years ago. 'Back in the 90's I had a Hunting/Target permit up there. No good in N.Y.City or Nassua County,only valid in Upstate and Suffolk Co.(east end of L.I.) Almost needed an act of congress to get it.

    Most NY citizens are total f ups. What can we expect from a place that outlawed soda (pop) over 16ozs. from being served! This is one f 'd up state. These politicians never took "1984" or any of the other "Big Brother" books and movies seriously when they were teenagers. Instead they are following the plan of "Big Brother". I'm afraid that the next step will be to limit gun sales to single shot, dayglo orange painted 20 gauge shotguns. Then after that Zero guns for law abiding folks.

    Also, there is a Demo proposing a bill that would eliminate the limit of 2 terms for president! Imagine if that were to get through. Right now they claim it doesn't stand a chance. BUT, what were the chances 10 years ago of a guy with a muslim name and questionable roots be elected president. JFK was a long shot because he was Roman Catholic! The a-hole mayor of NYC had the law changed so he can stay mayor past the old limit. So what if?

    Fatboy, the demos changed the law in Oregon to so that the looser two time demo Governor could run again. Now he and his bunch want to ban guns to. This guy said when he was running "Well I know I couldn't get it right my first two terms but if you elect me for a third term I know I can do it right. ". Idiots took the bait and so far he has done nothing right.

    Constitution Amendment means nothing to these guys. Obooma will probably get to appoint at least one more and more than likely two Supreme Court Judges over the next 4 years. That will make a majority left leaning court. Goodbye constitution.

    I loved it when zero said today that 70% of NRA members voted in a recent poll that they wanted something done. I guess I'm in that 30 percent. :rolleyes:

    I am in that 30% also, but look at the deficit Obama is not good with numbers. He won't let you protect your child with a firearm, but his children get the secret service firearm protection 24/7:wtf:. He can't possibly f--- this country up any faster.
