Seen one of these today. We rode about 30 miles following it.
He went to pass a couple tractor trailers and run out of room. The car headed toward him had to git off the road.

I think there are cool to look at anyway. My wife walked in as I was looking at them and I said "hey what do you think of these?" She took a quick look and said "they look stupid" I said "why do you say that?" she said " they look like they are for old guys that can't ride a motorcycle" :roflmao:

Sounds like they need a bigger engine.

I was talking to a guy who had one of the new HD trikes and he was disgusted with it....bad gas mileage, no power......:(

Oh I see the V-twin now on my computer (couldn't make it out on my phone). First saw one of this type in Arizona a few years ago. I bet it is under powered.

I think I would rather ride one of those that one of the two wheel in the front things.
Your right about the Harley Trikes and poor gas mileage, when their stock. They like there 2 wheel counter parts from HD all in stock condition lack power and fuel mileage. Have a friend who is 72 now and just bought a HD Trike. He opened the air box, put Rush mufflers on it and did the stage one download. Says his gas mileage is a bit better plus he has a lot more power.

Hey Tomflhrci98 , tell your wife at least those old guys can still ride and to remember you guys will be old someday to. :D

I've ridden several different styles of trikes, I don't like riding NON of THEM.
I'd rater ride in my Ford Truck than a trike.:cussing:

I guess you would not like my wife's trike either. For some people they keep em riding and even if I at this point in my life don't care to ride one I can see how they help others.

My wife tried a couple trikes out, we've got some friends with em. They said go try it out, after riding her Buell over a few years and her 09 Nightster she said she don't understand how anybody can like them.
Don't guess it was meant for me to understand. I'm scared of them, and my wife acts about the same.
Don't like how they handle either.
And in Traffic, OMG i can't handle riding it at all.

My wife took to the trike like a fish takes to water. She can ride her Harley Trike as well or better than most men and women ride their two wheel bike. She chose a Trike over a two wheeler as she for one thing started riding late in life around 50 years old. Secondly a close friend was riding a trike and talked her into riding. It's different strokes for different folks and I've never looked down on her for it, but just the opposite. :)

I rode a friends hd trike way back when it was a meter maid trike flat head rode good you just have to change your riding style a little & remember the back is a bit wider or you can knock fenders off
