So Richard Petty went off about Danica Patrick ability to win a race the other day. At first I thought "oh crap, poor ol Richard is getting senile and crotchety". But what he was saying made sense. She can drive fast and handle a car but she can't race.

I'm always routing her on. I'd like to see her do good, but I am as frustrated as he is. She just doesn't pass anyone, she doesn't get in there and mix it up. At least not what I've seen.

But then again, Kyle's last few years weren't all that either.

She's got a figure like a 15 year old boy and unfortunately she drives like it too. But she sells!

Ole Richard just isn't getting any of it and he's pissed. But she is not a competitor. She should switch to drags where they don't bump.

They should have left her in the Nationwide races until she proved herself. I do love her commercials :D

I got a question here. How many years did Petty drive when he wasn't capable of even competing? Got paid moocho $$$ just to cruise around and show that '43'. I loved the guy when he was a factor but like so many other icons. he stayed for the $. That's OK but I was embarrassed for him. Danica aint as hard on yer eyes as the king.

I think he just tried to bump draft her on the back of the 43 and she
side stepped him, ran him into the wall and he's upset...

I still say she belongs in Nationwide. She's definitely making money on her looks. Got a kick out of those Bud commercials with Dale jr

It's all about image and little substance. Like everything else these days. But if she keeps it up, she will improve.

Who cares if she can't race she sure is easy on the eyes. Whats wrong with that? Kinda like Palin for president...yeah so maybe she can't president well but it would sure make watching those state of the nation speechs easier to watch.

Plain would be an extreme improvement as a president. I would have voted got her over Romney

She is definitely nice to look at but don't think she has it in the long run for the brutal combat that Nascar has. Sorry women just don't get as aggressive as the guys so and that is probably a good thing for us all. :D
