We had a GREAT ride to and from DC. Went through about three storms on the way up but that wasn't too bad. It started raining as soon as I backed the bike off the darport so I put my rainsuit on and went on to the dealership to meet the others. The farther I got the harder it rained but then it finally stopped. But like I said it stormed a couple more times before we got to our half way point that night. Got to Quantico the next morning with no problem but the DC traffic- well that's something else to deal with. Anyhow I don't how many riders/bikes there were this year but we got to the Pentagon about the same time this year as previously but we were much farther over in the lot. I believe there were more spectators along the route too which is very encouraging. It is very encouging to see the young people there showing their interest and support because they will be the next generation in charge, Barry Satora (a.k.a. Obama) didn't send any type of aircraft to do a flyover for an official start. I reckon that's prart of his sequestraton..... Anyhow it was a GREAT trip. I was pretty tired but got rested up and back to work on Tuesday.:D:D:D
