Looking at the 2 riders backrests that HD sells....one is 209 and is just a standard backrest. Second one is 300 and has the push button adjustment for "on the fly" adjustments...... anyone have any opinions on if the additional $$ is worth it for the adjustable one??? Only want to do this thing once!!!

my thoughts......i have the cheaper one, set it once and forget it. it works great for me and is maintance free.....the more bells and whistles ya get the more problems go with it. and trying to get it adjusted while riding........well, ya dont want to many distractions.......unless there in a thong.........:)

All I got was the cheeper one , has worked great for well over a year now , you just put in place & leave it alone ,I'am only about 5'10 & I set mine in the lowest notch , & it's been real good even on a 800 mile day ride

rickster, it's always good to save a buck, my backrest look's just like my seat, I have seen some with the center out like A donut , mine is full across buttons & all my back does sweat , but I'am here on the Gulf C oast
