We took a long ride again today only this time going around the other side of MT Saint Helen's. I got a couple of pics one of the mountain, one with the wife with the mountain and one with my girlfriend in the pic. :D

Man, perfect here this weekend, Saturday calling for rain, never happened, little cloudy and low 70s. Today absolutely perfect. 75* sunny and no humidity. Rode all weekend... good stuff, can't get much better. :)

This is Glacier Bay by Haines. Flew over Mendenhall Glacier by Juneau in a friend's float-plane later in the day. If you look real close, you can see a couple of cross-country skiers traversing the glacier at the top.

There aren't many roads up here, but the roads they do have are all very nicely paved now with almost zero traffic, unless you count moose.

Juneau (State capital) is only accessible via ferry boat or plane. It's only about 50 miles away as the crow flies. Same with Skagway: only 10 miles from Haines by plane, but about 300 miles if you want to ride your bike. The road goes around Mt. Fairweather (15,000+ ft) and Mt. Logan (19,000+ ft) for some of the most incredible scenery in the world. They make a very intimidating barrier.
