I have a 2005 HD Road Glide with a windshield that I can't seem to keep tight against the fairing. With 200 miles on the new bike, the windshield almost completely came off going down the highway. This resulted in multipul scratches to the fairing and the windshield. I took it to the local HD shop where they replaced both the fairing and the windshield. Even after this, the windshield doesn't seem to want to stay tight against the fairing. I routinely check the screws holding the windshield to the fairing and they are routinely loose. I have have talk to the local HD shop and they respond that this is a disign problem with the Road Glide, but haven't provided a solution other than checking the screws to make sure they are tight. Any suggestions?
