Bought a new 06 RK in NW Fla in Dec 05, ran geat until March when (ironically the weather was warming up) I started to have cold start issues (coughing as though I had a carb when actually have EFI). Took it to a HD dealer, one located between Tallahasse and Pensacola and they said there was a service bulletin stating if there are cold start, stalling, or acceleration issue to replace the 8 degree fuel injectors with 25 degree FI's. Well the cold start issue seemed to be resolved, but after 3 days out of the shop, cruising on back roads at about 60 MPH it dies! It did start right back up but it was back to the shop. Here they swap out the fuel reg, no help, order a fuel pump, no help, then replace the check valve...they say it's cured, not sure just got it back. Oh yeah, they scratched my gas tank too! So they say they owe me a new tank but can't produce any paperwork to prove it's on order becasue they order parts in a batch mode and haven't got the P.O. number yet. I'm trying to maintain but am getting really pissed. Any other similar issues out ther with fuel problems? Thanks for listening.

sorry to hear about your problems. one thing i can say is it appears that the dealer you are working with is trying to get the problem solved......which is more than a lot of dealers do.......accidents do happen, and they "said" they would take care of that problem also......time will tell...no problem ranting....imo, it seems that your dealer is shooting straight................so far...........not defending them.....just an observation

Thanks for the optomistic and postive feedback...you lost me GreyBear when you say "know what year bike you have."?? It's an 2006 RK Classic.
