Wished I had the time to ride to Texas and meet up with you and ride on up to Springfield. If I was retired I would do it in a heart beat.

if you were retired and like me you probably wouldn't have the money to do it.
It does sound like fun, but then I like any kind of motor racing.
I could sure use a new ball cap!!!! How do you say souvenirs?

Well since it's probably still about 3,000 degrees where you live at the first of September, I'll pass. ;)

I think living in the Pacific Northwest is a really great place to ride in. Rode down in Phoenix and then from there into Cal. one year. 114 F and I know what being in an oven is like. If Texas is like that no thanks. Course AZ was a real dry heat.

I was going to say that if he was going to go through Minnesota I would gladly meet up and ride with him for a while. Too many other things going on for me to make a whole trip of it. :)

They work, just don't soak it to long before you leave. Wife did that to one of those and soaked it to long. She had crap oozing out all over the place and then could never use it again. I carry a light jean jacket and soak it, cold as hell when you first put em on but sure feels good going down the road. I've also stopped along streams, soaked the jacket and pulled my T-shirt off and soaked it to, now that makes you pucker when you first put it on. :D

Food for thought, once you hit those mid west states I would be careful where and what I soak a jacket in, never know what's in their water.
