A animal rights group in PA. want the organizers of groundhog day to replace "PHIL" with a robot.
They're claiming that keeping a poor defenseless groundhog in a cage all year long is cruel mistreatment of an animal.
Now mind ya that this "holiday" has been held for a lot of years and so far as I can see this rodent does a better job of prodicting the weather than some of our so called highly paid weather forecasters in DC.
Phil works for no money and is compensated by living an nice warm cage is fed well and has medical coverage. Kinda sounds like what the gov is trying to for us don't it? :puke:
Next ya have the animal rights group to deal with. My thought on this would to be to direct them to the same group of bikers that handled that protesters at their PA rally; who were complaning that bikers cut up animals to wear there hides. Who would a thought that us bikers would stoop so low as to wear animal hides to protect our own hides when the bike goes down, anyhow these nasty bikers ducted taped those poor animal right souls and put them where they belong - in the dumpster.:roflmao:
This same group of nasties should also consider branching out; How about some senators and congressmen or groups of people like Jane "HANOI" Fonda; or the don't ask don't tell group that Big O is trying kiss a** with.:fight:

    jus a thought! :)

Just repaired my old weather rock out back, had to put a new rope on it cause the old one broke. If I can see it it's sunny, if it's swinging it's windy, and if it's wet it's raining. Real reliable unit till the hanger broke..

Those crazy animal rights folks - you know, if they get their way and Phil gets turned loose, the poor thing will probably die because he won't know how to survive free or since he's so used to being around people, he'll get out in traffic and get flattened all because of some rights group that's probably getting some sort of government funding, that we're paying for, to carry on whatever they protest against. Dumb as :cussing: nails.
