roller rockers are supposed to be noisier than regulars. Is there some reason why you chose them? They only have a necessary benefit in high lift cam applications where the side loading of the valve stem becomes an issue. In the Twin cams, reputable techs are suggesting them for lifts over .560"

Adjusting pushrods can be an effort.

Are you running a high lift cam?

sometimes it's the rods hitting the tubes or heads that make the noise, you can check that by looking for side wear marks on the rods.

Only way we got rid of it on a 113 was to go to the crane adjustables which are 1/2 the diameter of the ones that came with the motor and with a 640 lift and rollers it's dead on quiet.

On a 103 with 640 lift cam the SE adju are noisy, I think from tapping the heads where they go through.

Just FYI sometimes looser is quieter, try backing them off a couple of flats and see if that works.

Are you sure it's rocker arms you're hearing? I'd bet lifters and/or pushrods in the tubes - check hotroadking's post as he's obviously seen it too. I've got Jim's roller rockers in one application & they're not noisy @ all. I hate adjustable pushrods with an utter passion & would never use them with hydraulic lifters, but in that application I have to, due to taller than stock engine & solid (Jim's roller) lifters. So there has to be some slack & you can hear that the pushrods are not tight from the lifters to the rockers, especially when the engine's cold. But warmed up, the valvetrain isn't any noisier than my street Sportsters with hydraulic lifters. The EV27 cam specs are .497" lift, 236 duration intake, 240 exhaust, so adjustable pushrods are not necessary in that application & I'd get rid of 'em.

    clearance

I was reading somewhere that sometimes roller rockers will hit the top of the rocker cover and you have to remove some material. I wouldn't think that because an EV-27 is not very high lift that they should need any more clearance than stock.
Just sharing what I read. Maybe put your hand on top of the rocker box and feel if it's hitting it.
