Jim's roller rockers are not noisy (I've got a set) & with adjustable pushrods, you can bet any louder than normal valvetrain noise is due to them being out of adjustment. I've got a set in one engine only because solid (roller) lifters are necessary & I wouldn't use adjustable pushrods with hydraulic lifters - you can, but they're a lot harder to get set just right.

Biker666- I've got a 93 FLHTC also and found that I have to adj. just a little more than the book called for. A little clacking problem- I adj. out until the quit making sure that the rods still rotated so they wouldn't bend. I didn't have a gauge to check them, but I read on one of the forums somewhere that .001 warm was about the right setting.
    Hope this helps.

When I installed SE rollers in my 99 FXDX I had to relieve rocker cover with hand grinder, might be necessary with Jim's, especially if you added a higher lift cam.
