Wonder if the CB would still work, or if it would play to a headset..

Be easier to sell the bike and get the new HD system

What a 2014 bike. Heck no.

    I emailed Bagger Nation.
I want to know if when you plug it into the Cigarette lighter and the radio, If you can blue tooth a Sena Smh 10 headset into it and listen to the radio or CD player.

I have never used the CD on my Limited . Or even tried.

I don't get it. You plug it into the cig lighter but where does the other end go? Into the acc outlet/inlet on the front of the radio. How is that any better than just plugging the phone directly there now like I'm doing?

    Cords going to me.
If you stick a cord anywhere on me. It will get ripped off .
I don't like cords hooked to me.

When the 2014 come out. I put the OL on the bike and rode to the dealer with 8000.00
Looked at the water cooled, the radiators in the hard lowers.
And said Hell NO. I ain't buying a new 2014 limited with the Water cooled Exhaust Valve.
Took the money and did a 107 on my bike.

Was at the dealer this past saturday.
The salesman that came over was the same dude that sold me my 2011 Ultra Limited.
Asked if I was ready to trade. I said I came last year to trade. And HD came up with the great Idea to go to water cooled. Now I have a water pump in the way. And a set of radiators. And a even leaner bike.
Heck no I didn't want one.
And if the bike was laid down there is over 2 times as much stuff to get messed up.
He said you got a point there.

If water cooled is what they want to sell. I'm threw .
He said you can buy a ultra classic.
Its stripped compared to the Ultra Limited.
And I noticed the SE Ultra was water cooled also.

If you like em knock yer socks off.

If there was a way I could send a message to Moco I would.

You can get a cable that runs to the power on the bike and has the same connection to the radio, the cable can be run anywhere on the bike like a windshield bag or glove box on the RG, I did it, and it charges the phone as well as a direct output to the radio on AUX

The problem is you have to put the radio on AUX and if you want a headset
still use the HD unit to the console.

The only thing this does is let you put your phone somewhere without a cable and you loose the ability to charge the phone plus you have a cable from the cig plug to the radio across the dash...

If he does not use the CB on the bike then he won't care. I heard the other day that they are working on a wireless headset, wonder if it will also be a blue tooth.

well since the radio has BT i'd imagine it will, that' is what I'd like, hate that cord, its so 1990's

I'm surprised someone hasn't created a blooteef plug in for the console plug that would work with any blooteef headset thereby enabling the ability to use the stock controls.

I just don't want another set of controls to screw with.

This is what I used on my 09 RG, since it didn't have the HD iShit interface for the iPod. It's an easy install, remove tank, run cable up to faring for aux and phone connection, you just have to pick up the connector and pins for the aux power port under the seat, costs about $10 at the dealer crimp on the end of one wire and you are done.

This gives you a direct connection to an Iphone, it charges the phone and connects to the Aux port. What I did was put a secondary aux port on the back of the radio, pretty simple if you can run a soldier iron, just got a spare RF female jack on wire at Radio shack, cut the male end, and connected to the radios internal RF, theres' instructions on how to do this, or send it to http://blog.ironacesspeedshop.com/ and they can put the port in the back for you, plus they can upgrade the radio to anti vibration and improve the units performance.

Heres the install instructions for the cable.

    http://blog.ironacesspeedshop.com/h...simple-is75-polywire-iphoneipod-hardwire-kit/

Granted it's a bit more work than the BT hookup but you won't have anything in your
cigarette lighter port that you have to put up whenever you park.

If I was going to do the BT I'd hide it inside the fairing with a spare power port from HD

Got a email response from Bagger Nation about Bluetoothing my Sena Smh 10 headset to the RF bluetooth adapter and listening to the radio.
    They said I could.

If that works then get a spare power port to put under the fairing out of the weather the only thing you'll run up on is the iPhone running out of power so you might want to put it in the tour pack on a charger for longer trips..

I posted a few years ago. About a Honda CB Harley Adapter Plug that goes in where your wired headset goes.
And from it you have to use a Bluetooth adapter.
Problem is the bluetooth adapters aren't great.
