I've Noticed A New Noise? When I Down Shift It Makes A Rubbing Down Wind Out Of The Clutch. Some Times It Sounds Like When I'm Shifting In The Rpms I Can Here The Primary Winding Up Then When The Downshift The Sound Almost Seems Like The Front Jug Is Making A Rubbing Noise. But Latley The Front Jug On The Primary Side Sounds Like Theres A Ball Bearing Rolling Around In It? Could These Be Problems From Running A Free Flow Air Cleaner And Drag Pipes Without Re-jetting The Carb? I Still Have 1 Year On The Warrenty Work. I'm Sure The'll Fix It, They Make The Money.

Good luck. Sounds like detonation damage to me. Too lean. Unless Harley finds anything wrong to restrict fuel, it probably wont be covered. They are prety well schooled on what engines look like after running with no rejet. Unfortuantely, it happens often.
