I heard from a semi reliable source the other day that Suzuki is pulling out of the U.S. market. Seems they still have to many 2007 new bikes that have not sold let along 08-11 bikes.

They have closed two outlets here in Portland just recently. We went to a store close out sale over the weekend and heard it there.

Here in the empire state all the Japanese brand dealers carry all of the Japanese brands. I used to have 6 Honda bike shops within a 30 minute drive. Now one shop carrying all the Japanese brands. Gone are the days of Honda dealers, Yammy, Suzuki etc.

I guess if this is true, I think that this is a bad thing?? I like this development because that is just less competition for Harley. Polaris, and Indian (Polaris). I do think that this could possibly raise prices but I would rather buy
    American anyway.. Just a thought...

    Thank You Gentleman...:D

    HD dealers are closing,
too many dealers for the market
same for rice riders too many dealers

Smaller pie, less people can eat or
everyone eats less, just the way it works

I was trying to ban them from my Ipad and didn't work so had to fire up the ol computer but I see you banned them. I did get a few of their posts deleted. I wished there was something Ken could implement when Escorts are mentioned that it is an automatic no post.

Now we don't want to be politically incorrect, do we boys? NOT! You guys had your hands full. One of 'em had posted on about a dozen threads.

There always names like Xeyang, wyang weesing wyyank or some stupid sounding name like that. HRK is right, we need to better protect Bike Talk at the sign in somehow. Maybe like a valid working e-mail that is checked before your allowed to enter. Just a thought
