I'm torn on what to get for running lights. I've been looking at the Kuryakyn silver bullets (20W halogen) for $100/pair and the Kuryakyn 3" diameter lights (I think they are 35W halogens) for $300. Is an extra 15W worth the $200?

is seems you are looking for style, along with function. if YOU think the higher priced ones are worth if for the look........go for it!!! another thing to think about is availability of replacement elements when one quits.....auto parts or internet?????

Look at the light section of your local truck stop - lights are standard or LED and a hell've lot cheaper. I saw some bullet lights in LED for $30 last week at my local TS.

    Kuryakyn makes good stuff.

    What kind of bike?

I'm looking at putting HID on my RG vs adding more lights.

The truck stop response made me chuckle, I can only think of one truck stop in the entire state of NH!
I ended up getting the large Kuryakyn silver bullet halogens for my 06 softail. Between the lights, fork mounting clamps and the optional wiring harness it ended up right around $200. Taking my time routing the wires, heatshrinking all connections and adding an in-line fuse to one wire took about 4 hours. Hopefully the snow will melt in the next two weeks and I can start riding....
