Does anyone know what the proper jet sizing would be for a S&S "SUPER E" carb on a 2000 HD Sportster XL1200C be??? I have been on the phone with S&S and another parts tech and have even watched a few videos about rejetting. I have a intermediate"pilot" jet of .028" and the main jet of .066" and the main jet "air-bleed" jet of .046". My bike is running too lean and I just want to try to save myself a few bucks and not have to get it put on a dyno, plus parts and labor. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:gah::wtf::angry:

I never had any good luck with the S&S carb , son had one worked great But it was on a S&S engine , I would go with the CV carb , much easier to tune & rejet if need be ,

29.5 leave the main were its at and install a 40 air bleed that should help with the transition from pilot to main

What I meant was leave the main alone and put a 40 thou air bleed in .so that I should of clarified the stock main! Witch is a 72. Sorry should have been more specific. Kirby is 100 percent correct to small a main

I'm not a fan of S&S carbs either, but I second the other recommendations:
    29.5 intermediate - 68 main - 40 air bleed
