Have to vent. I have one of those SAC sissy bar mounted bags, I have had it for several years and the zipper broke. I don't expect things to last forever but something like a zipper can be fixed. I have emailed SAC a few times over the summer about sending it back to have it fixed and I have gotten no responses. You would think that being sold through Harley and paying the extra bucks because it has the Harley name on it that their would be some support. Notta nothing. On the other hand my wiley sunglasses broke and they responed with a free replacement part. Thanks Wiley and for SAC go ***** it up your ***. I am done thanks

    Got a T-Bag I sure do like.
Used it on a trip to Arkansas this year.

Have seen a Kuryakyn bag I like too.

I going to attempt to make my own. I have been wanting to design saddle bags that open up so I can strap a tent, sleeping etc on the bike.

My local dry cleaner does zipper repairs for anthing that takes a stitch. Call around and you may have an easier fix than you're thinking.

Thats probably what I would do. I really don't want to throw out the bag. I was mainly disappointed in the support from SAC. I wasn't looking for a freebie just wanted the bag fixed.

SAC has a lifetime warranty, don't toss it out or do it yourself

All you have to do is mail the bag to them with a note regarding the problem
also be sure to put on the note that you want them to re-dye the material
and it will come back looking brand new.

I have the Non HD SAC, 10 years old, and had to ship it up, talked to the guy at
the booth, and he said all you have to do is ship it to them and they will do it no charge.

I agree they should have called you but I think they are probably on the road
at Lonestar now, they hit all the major and many minor shows.

Thanks. I will box it up and send it and see what happens. Not sure about the re dye part. I kind of like the worn out faded look.
