I had a nice ride through death valley this weekend. It felt like 100 degrees there. I was hoping it wouldn’t be that hot this early in the season considering I started out in the morning with chaps and heavy jacket. The bike was knocking it brains out when it got hot. I finally had to stop and retard the timing a bit. It was great after that.
Took some pictures on the fly.

Nice pics, I think Cardboard would like it there. Hot, no trees and Desert country.

Those are really nice pictures. I would like to ride through one day. I guess I need to start somewhere so I guess I will settle for the bad lands at sunset with the wife along. Upper Minnesota is really nice too.:D

The first set is from the Badwater Basin off the route 178. This is the part of the valley that is 282 feet below sea level. Bike runs good here:D

The second set is not that far from Badwater. It is called Artists Drive.

Minnesota is great too .... in the summer. I used to ride through Minnesota when I lived near Detroit on my way to Sturgis. I was there in the winter once.... never again I hope:p

    Nice road pics.
Now is the time to get up to the Tejon Pass on I-5.
I drove through it Sunday in my truck and the hillsides are afire with poppies and other wildflowers.
I didn't stop to get photos because I was in serious pain from an ear infection.
