Today we are heading up to the Willamette National Cemetery for a Veteran and good friend, Darrel Kanehe "Mr Coconut". It's amazing how fast cancer can take good fiends from us and way to soon in life. We didn't even know he was sick until it was to late. He was a long time friend and co-worker from years ago. He was from Hawaii thus the name MR Cocoanut. Member of the Patriot Guard and attended all the services for veterans. Soft spoken and easy going guy who all loved. Man, I know for me this guy will be missed.

Maddog, Loren and I were asked to hold flags and we had 3 long lines several hundred yards long. Got to meet his brother and boy you could sure tell he was his brother, darn near a mirror image. Very nice family all Hawaiians glad we had the opportunity to give them our condolences. Sure going to miss him.
There was a upper row of motorcycles also. Maddog, Loren and I all wore Hawaiian Harley shirts to honor him.

    Aloha,

Thank you for your post and for standing for my dad. It was a beautiful tribute and he was smiling on us that day.
