Been wondering where you've been and glad to see you're still around. Not been riding much this past week due to the ol' back acting up, but should be back in the saddle soon. We've been having some great riding weather here.

I hear you about not riding a bunch. Although in the last two weekends I have managed about 1600 Mile's on the bike. Good to hear from you JoshBob, hope your back gets better.

Getting ready for the killing season, so doing some mountain recon and getting in shape for the deer and elk hunts. DR650 Poco Canyon.jpg
This pic looks like a simple trail, but the underlying scree rock on this old horse & cart mine trail made riding along this canyon a bit more of a sweat than I was ready for. Kept trying to push me down into the ravine.

    Good to see ya here!

P.S. FYI, in the distance, that is not sky, it is an alkali lake bed. I'm at about 7,000ft, valley/lake below is about 7 miles away at 3,800ft. Pic was taken during a break on the return down the mountain.

Lol. No. Paul has a lot on his plate. Our conversations aren't bike related topics lately.

Hey johnny biker...slow summer her too riding wise. Spending a lot of time with the grand kids doing stuff for and with them.

Did get some new handlebars for my bike and planning on riding once grand-parenting obligations are topped off for awhile.

Yep, but you do, too. I just couldn't stand to live around all those trees there! You can see from the pic we don't have lots of those nasty things blocking our views.;)

    Thanks.

For some reason Paul Yafee is not well spoken of? I don't know the man but this is the 2nd set of his bars and I got nothing but good things to say.

Been out that way more than a couple times over my life and I would sure like to get back out there again. Hitch hiked, motorcycle, truck, car it's always a great experience.

And I owe you a visit. I tend to be like that, lol. You went out of your way to come over and say hello.

Don't like the big wheels or fenders or the extended bags. Mirrors are nice but not what I'd be willing to pay. Found very similar mirrors on demon cycles web site for 40$ compared to I think 300$ paul yaffee.

I realize his handle bars are pricey but dayum I love 'em! Having gotten only 8" saved me some money and was a sale on that day which saved me a bunch too. For me 8" was perfect.
