I have a dyna/94 low rider which i wanted to add a screamin eagle ignition module to,but when i plug it in the bikes rpm drops off almost to the point of stalling, thats when the bike is warmed up.It will not keep running if the bike is cold.If i plug the orignal one back in then everything is back to normal. What do you people think is causing this module to work like this?
    Thanks for any info........

the settings in the module are not correct for your bike. do the instructions tell you how to adjust??? or does it need mapped?? the problem is definatly the module, not the bike

I am wondering if the dealer gave me the right module, its module #32596-96 and says it is for 1984-1995 1340 models? I can,t find anywhere to contact screamin eagle to get any info,so any you can give would be appreciated. Thanks :::

According to my parts book, it looks like the correct part number. It also says the only thing it should do is increase the rev limit (6000 rpm) of the stock module while maintaining the lower and mid range ignition curve of the orginal equipment. It doesn't appear to have any adjustments or mapping. It appears you may have a bad part out of the box. Good luck.
