Anyone ever used the SE pro race tuner? I am not a motorhead and could use your help. I have a 2005 Ultra with SE true duels and air kit, I have popping on deceleration and feels a little sluggish, I pulled the plugs and they are grey which indicates that its running very lean, need advice on programming a richer map.

    Thanks

Does your bike have a Race Tuner installed? If not with the SE true duals and a high flow air cleaner you are running to lean and need some sort of fuel management system. If so, it is probably set to lean and you will need to take it to a HD dealer and have it adjusted.

The SERT Pro has some preloaded maps for different scenarios, similar to the Stage 1 flash that the dealer does. I can honestly say that even though I've used it I don't think it is the most user friendly and can be buggy depending on what version. I found out the hard way that once you change versions any map you have has to have been written in the same version. Despite the fact that you already have the SERT, if you can switch to a Power Commander they work much better on the pre-08 touring models. Otherwise take your time with the software instructions and load the suggested map for that model, then tweak from there.

One word of warning, the module that plugs between the bike's harness and your computer is unique. Once you load with that it creates a digital signature to your bike's ECM and cannot be used on another bike... nor can another SERT be used on your bike. Guard it with your life as I've seen dealers fail to return them or loose them cause customers to need to buy a whole new SERT and start over.

Sounds like you want me to git a real job.

Wouldn't that require me leaving the House......................................

You already know I can stay in the house for days at a time. :D
