anyone ever hear of sea foam? its suppose to be the cure all for lots of things such as long time gunk build up in a carb. Put it in the tank run it then the trick is to let it sit for a few days to do its thing. Many claim its wonderous cures for carb woes. Susan fireitup. They have a website. I googled it to find it.

I have used it with some success in two cycle outboard motors, but I think for a bike it's snake oil. Just keep the wheels turning and do your service work on time. Dutch

    seafoam tales

Guy bought a triumph tiger in 98. said it was sittin around for years. carbs and such were all gummed up. he put the recommended amount of seafoam into the gas tank road the bike around nothing happened. Then he added some more in despair. Road the bike around nothing happen. The bike still ran bad. So he let the bike sit for a few days and then got ready to take the carbs apart only decided to take it for a run one last try and low and behold the seafoam application he applied kicked in. I have to find where i read that on line. think it was bike web.
Yes I will be in the wind only sooner than the spring. Getting fed up with four wheels. All I need is no ice on the road no snow and temps in the 20's in the early a.m. And its off to work I go and listening to stupid remarks like aren't you cold? And I say aren't you tired of the high gas prices? And sitting in that cage you drive? Oh well. Be nice. Right?

I've always thought that kind of stuff was gimmicks, I have used similar products and about all they ever did for me was foul the plugs. One reason i run an S&S on my shovel and evo is because not only are they good performers (in my opinion although I've never ran a Mukini but heard good things about them other than that they are a slide valve) the S&S is also pretty simple to disassemble and clean. A little Berryman's B12, an "O" ring and a gasket is usually all that is required to make them run like new money. I douche mine about once a year being careful to remove all parts with plastic and rubber because the Berrymans will dissolve them. AL

I tried to put sea foam in my bike's carburetor. Unfortunately after a few minutes the seaweed clogged things up.

    race

There's snow all over the place its falling so thick it looks like miniture paratroopers coming out of the sky. Only the roads are clear. Suppose to get 1 to 3 inches. You do need long johns to ride in this cold. Scarf, thick gloves, lots of layers which keep one warm for about 1 mile.
Race? Well theres to much distance didn't think of that. Only I would of given you a head start.:D
