    i have a question that some may think is stupid. i would like to know if a seat from a 2004 thu 2006 sportster will fit 1996 sportster? this is my first harley and i dont want to mess things up.

    welcome to the forum!!! i will sort of answer your question, how handy are you with tools and your hands?? there are going to be some mounting differences, but these can be worked around. if your not handy then the answer is gonna be no....have fun, stay safe:)
