    Sounds like he's a good cop and great person. What a shame he is put in this situation. I've never been in this kind of situation but I would think that it would be better to pull your gun than your taser in a situation like this. It's commendable to not want to take lethal action against someone but when you're dealing with crap like this, you have to think of yourself first. These people are brutal and ruthless and you have to act accordingly. IMO There are some interesting reader comments at the bottom of the article also.
