Hotroadking, thanks for speaking with me on the phone about this gun. I am going to take your advice and call my lgs and ask him how much he would give on trade for that gun.

After our conversation I thought more and more about it that I really like the idea that I can the caliber of it. Like I said, he only pumped 50 rounds through it. I do like the looks of it, just need to hold it and hopefully go to a range and squeeze a few magazines through it to test that trigger pull.

Again, thanks for taking the time.

That price that showed on that Buds wasn't too far off from what he is asking. With only 50 rounds gone through it, it's like new. Don't really care about the warranty though. Just me. Like I said, I will call the lgs and see what he says for trade in. Some nice firearms available on that site.

I don't think it matters either way but its a bargain chip in your favor, ie he wants $400+ no warranty, you can buy new $399 or less and have the warranty.

I'd offer him no more than $300 based on 1) used is used, 2) trade in is about $225 give or take or if he sells to an LGS 3) new ones are $399 4) no warranty

Even if you end up paying a bit more its a good gun.

However just think at his price for $100 more you can buy a brand new P320 (same modular design) in striker fire (hammerless)

Yeah after talking to you I decided that I would offer 300 and pay no more than 325. It's money in his pocket either way.

I finally had a chance to go and test fire the Sig P250 this morning. I thought that it is a very well made firearm. Fit my hand nicely as well. One thing that I found odd was that it would not load the round once. I was using guardian gold 185+p hollow point when that happened. I released the mag and restacked the ammo. Once I did that, no issues. I really like the placement of the magazine release and also the slide release. As far as the trigger goes, that would be something to get used to but it did feel good.

The Sig fits my hand better than my Bersa but I seem to have better control with my Bersa. Shooting the p250 will take a little work for accuracy. I do think that I am going to pick this P250 up.

Keep practicing as you get better and better. I took my Sig P229 out yesterday and have finally shooting offhand stopped pulling left or dropping shots low, except for one.
    Distance is 50 feet.

I shoot better with that Sig than any other pistol I own. The other one that comes close is my S&W M&P 40C and my Ruger SR9C is very accurate.

So there is nothing to worry about that the mag didn't feed the round?

Most likely not, it could have been the ammo
or just not properly seated in mag, if it does it alot
then change ammo, some stuff is made different

BTW on the P250 you need to learn the break point
on the trigger, watching the hammer come back is a good
way to practice, feeling the trigger tighten up right before
the break, once you get the position down you can squeeze
smooth and you'll know when it's going to pop off.
