Signal problem

    91 ultra at idle signal won't come on. volt meter rocks, get the r's up and it works. new stator & rotor, any ideas? haven't installed new voltage regulator. It seems to be charging fine.

    put a volt meter on the battery while it is running.......change rpm's and watch the meter....it should not vary much between 2000 rpm and idle.....

    Might check connections at the battery to.

    i forgot to mention, low voltage is why the signals dont work....you have a charging problem.....
