Has there been an issue with the site over the last week or so? I couldn't get to the forum regardless of what computer or web browser (IE and FireFox) I used. Now this morning here we are again....thankfully.

No, its just you... just kidding :roflmao:

I've been running some site maintenance jobs this morning to weed out some clutter and make everything run better. If you or anyone notices anything broken later today please send me a message and I'll look into it.

In the future if you find the forum locked up or other problems, try holding the shift-key while clicking on Refresh. This clears your browser's cache memory and gives you a fresh page.

I to could not get on and sent an E-mail to Ken that bounced back. I figured the site was gone or shut down. Checked it again this morning just for grins and to my surprise it worked.
I've been a user of Bike talk sense its very first conception with Dave and before that when it was called Motorcycle Crossroads so I'm glad to see its still up. Now I will have to copy the web site URL and send it to my other computer as I deleted it when I thought it was gone.:)

Aside from some forum upgrades I've been running, the site's host company has been running some maintenance to improve the speed of all their sites.

Not to worry, if you see the lights off it's not because someone permanently pulled the plug. BikeTalk is here to stay for a long long time.

Marc, I've been around too, though Motorcycle Crossroads was a separate board started by Jon Lind back around '95.

Nah, if you had been banned you would have still been able to see the site. The only difference, you would have seen everyone running your good name up the flag pole and poking you with a stick without the ability to reply :roflmao:
