    There aren't any real spectacular pictures, but I think you get a good feeling of being on the road. Your wives will like the end pictures.

    Nice show - and ya can't go wrong with the Allman brothers as a rider's soundtrack. Beautiful ending, too, with your zonked-out grandbaby! Have an great ride back, too!

    Today I'm crossing the river to New Hampshire to ride to some of my favorite places (which all involve food - go figure) with a couple. We're going to Bath, which has this old store (The Brick Store) that makes killer smoked pepperoni right out back and fudge. :p Then we'll go by one of my favorite scenic places, Beaver Pond. It's New Hampshire's best kept secret. It's on the west side of 112, which people don't ride that much. They figure once they're done with the Kancamagus, there's nothing else on that road. Then we'll ride the Kanc and hit my favorite barbeque place, the Yankee Smokehouse. From there we'll go to the Wiers (center of the Laconia rally), and even though the rally isn't until next week, I'll probably pick up a t-shirt or two. Then back to my friends' house where I'll visit with her mother to see if I want to buy her long arm quilting machine she's selling.

    Tomorrow I'll be heading south via the Blue Ridge Parkway. After that, I'm going to this remote place in south Texas to visit with a couple of biker rednecks I've never met.:eek:

    Oh shoot. I was thinking about that and only got one. I'm about halfway through it. I'll wrap it up and hide it somewhere for the rest of the trip.

    Some of my favorite pics from today - the water is the Weirs, which is the Main Street of the Laconia rally.
