I'm thinking about putting in 10.0:1 pistons, in my stock engine. Has anyone done this? Just looking for some insight. Eventually I want to have cams, and heads as well. Got to do it as cash allows.

    Any thoughts will be appreciated.

My opininon only, wait until you have enough cash and then do everything so it all works together and the parts compliment each other, some people do cams then big bore when they have the cash but nothing really works well until you have the whole package, I mean there are some cams that work well with stock bikes and will work with mods but I dont think I would increasse my compression to 10- 1 without putting a cam in it, that is borderline needing compression releases and you will definetly need premium gas, If you are going to do 1 thing at a time I would start with cams and then you can build around that.
