A female friend needs a new helmet. Since she is of small stature she needs a size small. But she's trying to avoid that "mushroom" look. I know I've seen adds for helmets that are made with different size shells just for this problem but can't remember or find them. Anyone else know where I should(online) send her? Thanks C46:confused:

I have a Zox half helmet made from carbon fibre, and I really like it. It has a small brim attached that helps keep sun out of my eyes too.

H-D came out with helmets designed specifically for women cuz their heads are supposedly shaped dif. from men. Or maybe because of all the extra hair they have. I think the shell and liner are fitted for women.

A lot of those small helmets, if they are DOT, will still have that mushroom look, because they have too much foam on the inside. I have a Zox "old school" beanie in small and then carefully scooped out most of the foam on the inside for a custom fit. Glued the cloth covering back on and you can't tell the helmet has been modified.

Abby must not be following us these days, or she'd rip us a new one.

I used to like Facebook. Found a couple old friends on it. The big mistake I made wuz that I befriended too many people. BIG mistake!

I go on Facebook occasionally, mostly to see what the daughter is up to. It's getting full of political stuff now with I won't vote for OB.
