Not wanting to make anybody madd. But I would like a couple Opinions to look threw.
I have never had nothing but a iPhone in smart phones, and i've had them since the 3S iPhone, before that it was a motorola razr phone.
The new Samsung S5 is coming out. Never had one. Know nothing about the operating system. Or how to use it.
Just know the iPhone has been kinda easy to use.
If you was getting a new phone. Is the iPhone the right size or do you get used to the extra size of the size of the Samsung S5 and toting it.

    Thanks.

I switched from droid to IPhone and now have the 5. I recently had to search out my nephews samsung s3. Wow totally different and hard for me to navigate. I only used it briefly but I'm sure with time I could figure it out. I would miss having FaceTime because my kids and grand kids all live out of state and we get to see them often on FaceTime. Also I would like the larger screen for my old eyes but toting a large phone would be a hassle for me. JMO

Fatboy, get the IPad, they have FaceTime on them also and you get the advantage of the large screen. I use the IPad all the time even here on BikeTalk

Had the iPad was it 3 and sold it and went back to my Macbook pro.
    Like using it much better.
Another reason I was looking at the Samsung S5 with the bigger screen.

Was telling it to Fatboy for use with FaceTime, you probably don't even know what FaceTime is.

Does the samsung face time work with the IPhone face time ? All my kids gave iPhones compatablility would be mandatory for me. But the bigger samsung would be a major burden for me. I stick the IPhone in my jeans back pocket often

I looked at changing. Tried the samsung. Screen is better it's fast. Camera is better.

It will resume you to adapt after iPhone but it's what I would have if we were not needing face time.

    iFone 5s

Only for FaceTime. The upgrade from a 4s really wasn't spectacular a bit faster little bigger screen but operationally the same.

Rest of family has iPhones so I gave in

    Competitively I likes the samsung

Your phone provider should have a 30 day return option so you can test drve the samsung

I've also got the latest I-Phone and I like it. No Sammy's in my future. There are a couple functions I wished they had but none are perfect including the Sammy. :)

I enjoy my gal s4 I swapped from the I 4s took just a little bit to get use to the difference but well worth it as for face time ,I use tango it's a free app on Both the I phone & Samsung ,in fact I started using t on my I phone to talk to my oldest son In Alb NM as he had a driod phone ,I also use the otter box case both phones I will say the belt clip (otter box) for the gal is much better then for the I phone the bigger screen is so much better then the I phone & not just in the size , the tango app is like face time

Have a regular flip phone but got a IPAD II for Christmas..love the FT and that it interfaces with IPHONES. Best thing about IPAD is being able to stay in touch on the road. Some hotels either didn't have CPU or it was broke. IPAD doesn't take up much space either.

What virus protection do you have on it. And did you have to pay for it.

Do you got to worry about if somebody sends you Porn and you open it and look at it.
Somebody is always sending me porn . I don't always know it till I click on it and or download it.
Do you have to worry about getting a virus.

When you go to the Samsung forums.
They say do not leave it plugged in and go to sleep.
And or the clock will not wake you up.
    Or the speaker don't work.
    Makes you trip out.

I'm like a kid on the phone I visit everything.
    Never had one.
Been on a Macbook Pro and a iPhone for years. No virus protection, go wherever you want.

    Its kinda like walking again.
And the Samsung 5 comes out friday.

The samsung 5 is suppose to be water and dust resistance.

    And its a BIG phone.
Kinda looked at one somebody had when I was standing next to them.
The screen is so clear. And the camera took such good pictures.
Wow is all I could say.
And the girl who was like 40 had a picture of a Naked Chic on it.

    Wow. it looked picture perfect.

Just don't want to go out and get a phone and start worrying about screwing up.

I ain't gonna know what to do with a phone that ain't apple.
We've bought 5 apple phones. Its all I know.

And what about free apps. Like weather. airplane apps showing weather.
And fnd my phone and iCloud and everything.
And the contacts I have on my iPhone.
