    The old technology was less invasive. Stick with it if you can. I know some people that don't even have a TV in their home.

    I can see where that would be good and bad,
    you don't become a slave to the toob, but, you also
    miss out on news (probably help your blood pressure)
    and weather...

    Yup...I would go nutz without TV...I just need the standard package...We have a pretty good deal from Verizon which combines TV, Internet and phones...Never had a problem...

    We have a 32" flat screen which I watch from time to time - but not news anymore. Give me Walter Cronkite or Huntly & Brinkly - those guys were the real deal. News programs now are little more than opinion platforms. Interesting that the news programs are packed with gorgeous gals, usually blonde, with their mini skirts hiked up to the legal limit. Very distracting ;). Got me peeping like a one-eyed cat in a seafood store.

    But in spite of the gals, it don't make the "news" any better.
