    No snow to shovel or blow out of the way, got the little JD out, brake felt soft and then it wouldn't engage and move, of course half way around the house, the brake/clutch pedal wouldn't lock down either.

    so got it moving and limped it to the garage, looked around, all the cables, belts and levers worked but the clutch pedal was a bit soft, looked under the battery found a little yellow spot in the slot under the pedal restricting its movement

    Couldnt get to it with a long screwdriver, so out comes the battery and battery tray, of course it was simple but look at it now, little bigger image of it, and you can't get to it from the bottom either, plate in the way,

    A little better look with the battery tray out.

    Look what I found, must have been in there a while have no idea how it got in there, the perils of living on a golf course. LOL

    Got it out and it works perfectly again..

    Gotta ask Charlie46 I don't have a clue. I heard that term once from a golfer. I imagine that ball looks to have a "chip".
    Mark Twain once said "golf is a good walk ruined". :roflmao:

    Here is another quote or two:
    "Golf is an open exhibition of overweening ambition, courage deflated by stupidity, skill soured by a whiff of arrogance".
    - Alistair Cooke
    "If you think golf is relaxing, you're not playing it right. "
    - Bob Hope

    House is on the 10th hole, close to the green,
    that was a range ball some cheap sob playing a stolen ball

    Yeah I think it got in there a while ago, noticed the pedal was going soft
    finally got in a position that held it from moving.

    Have no idea how the heck it got there I could roll one in
    for a week and never get it in that position. From the bottom its
    protected by a steel plate.
