The other day I posted a joke titled "My New Doctor". Well, the joke turned on me. Went in for a stress test yesterday morning. My doc said now that I'm 60 and used to smoke and eat too much, and was exposed to chemicals and bad air, that it's a good thing to make sure the ticker is OK. Well, I flunked. They got me right to the hospital and after 3 stents I'm now home. No warnings at all, "I lift dingsup, I put dings down" no problems. I had 90% blockage on one that was on the backside of heart. Thank the good Lord I actually went for the stress test 'cause I was thinking of blowing it off.

good thing you did go. A friend of mine who was in pretty good shape..[walked 6 miles per day and other exercise] had a friend of his drop dead at a younger age booked a stress test for the heck of it..went straight from the clinic in his town to the hospital here..200 miles away and stright into surgury quadruple bypass and he had no symptoms either..it's hard to tell. I got checked out a while back. take it easy

Didn't feel a thing. Lifting refrigeration units onto roof tops, climbing ladders two stories, crawling through attics that have to be more than 120f. Darnedest thing. Thanks fer your thoughts!

Glad you went in and got it taken care of.

Funny before I had my open heart surgery they did a stress test on me and they said I passed. I remember afterwords that I just about fell off of it when the time was up. Less than a week later, back in and had a 5 by-pass.

So very glad they caught you and corrected it. You'll feel much better now. :)

It creeps up on you so gradually that sometimes you never notice it. Me, I don't want to know.

    Man Please !

Everytime I hear about somebody they are having stress test or gittin stints put in or having Heart Attacks.
My nephew who is a doctor said how bad smokin is for you and how it messes up yer arteries and heart.

I went in for a stress test a few years ago. They had me peddling a Bicycle.
my legs went out after `15 minutes and I flunk it.
I had to take a Chemical stress test. Man walkin on the threadmill and they makin it go uphill is tough.
They kept saying we are having a hard time gittin yer heart beat to go to l ike 130
They kept puttin more of the chemical in me.

Not long after the stress test is when my appendix busted and I went into the hospital.

    Oh yeah

With the stints yer going to have to change yer eating habbits and git yer butt out of the house and start walkin at least a mile a day.

Hope they didn't stick you on Lipitor.
Know yer on a medicine for yer stint for a while.

Which style stint did you git put in.
