Not long ago the HK radio took a crap, last October on a trip through the south, the dash went out and HD replaced it under warranty, now just 10 months later that radio took a dive.

Out riding hear a pop and nothing, one month out of factory warranty,
but lucky I had bought a one year extension and the dealer diagnosed a
    bad HK head unit again.

$50 later and one over night radio installed so its back in business,

Also the stitching on my seat was coming undone, I turned this in prior to the
factory warranty going out, that finally came in and put it on Sat, so New Radio
    New Seat...

Yeah apparently the HK has issues, especially with the non RG baggers
they get a lot of vibration and go to pieces inside.

This is the third one at least the warranty covered it...

    Indians are looking good...

Have had the HK system in two bikes and never a problem. Maddog on his 11 CVO with right at 40 thousand has never had a problem. Must be that wet damp Florida air you guys get.
Both our bikes sat outside during more than one heavy thunderstorm and downpour in Sturgis, still working. :D

Stitching done in an Asian sweatshop. Building probably caved in shortly afterwards . . .
