Im thinking I might invest in a Chopper Style sprung solo seat for my new Softail. Not having tested one out, the two things that worries me, is the comfort factor, and being sprung, whether theres any bouncing on twisty or rough roads.I dont really want to sacrifice comfort for cool. Is there anybody with experience in this style of seating out there to to advise me?

a sprung solo seat will not be as comfy as a mounted seat. there will be a lot less padding, and the springs are cool to look at but not the best for the butt. also your weight will come into play. if your on the large frame size, you will need stiffer springs, so the seat doesnt bottom out. then the seat becomes ridgid. now if all your going to do is bar hop, it isnt to bad as you wont be spending a lot of time in the saddle. but the look is way cool!!!!
