The news would be better if they'd take Ethanol out of the gas altogether. I think the good Lord intended for corn to be eaten, not burned as fuel.

Yeah I agree...Was a stupid idea to begin with....Very $$ when you consider all the subsidies and other BS that went along with it...

I'm glad we at least have products like Seafoam and MMO to add to the gas. There is a gas station 25 miles from here that has ethanol free hi-test, but with my tank capacity, I'd waste a third of a fill up just to get to it LOL.

I don't see a political solution to this happening any time soon. . .

Yeah!! Thats the only reason I traded my 2001 HD out. It had the MM EFI and the 10% ethanol was breaking its balz. Maybe all MM EFI wasn't affected but my 2001 was.

It affects all carbed bikes, too. I hear it eats away at the rubber componants, gas lines, etc.

Milage & perfomance suffer, too. Makes one wonder why they started adding that crap to the gas to begin with. Money is behind everything - that's probably it:meh:.

The mice in my barn are deeply fooled as well...they have eaten the top off both my plastic gas cans and my snowblower(assholes) thinking they were getting to corn.

It absolutely is all about money. The rich just want to get richer and they don't care at what cost. Just as long as the bottom on their profit is going up. Farm subsidies need to be stopped. And I say that as a rancher and it would affect me. But not nearly as bad as it would the rich. They are making money because of it. I just get a little tax break. But it needs to stop. If Ovomit wanted to dictate, that would be place he could say "stop" and it would be good. So you know that will never happen.

It won't happen no matter who's the Prez. As Dylan once sang: Money don't talk - it swears.
